Support Sea Shepherd

Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.

Sea Shepherd could not think of a more brave, passionate and dedicated activist and friend of the whales, than Isabel Lucas, also known for her role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Isabel has stepped up for duty for the oceans numerous times, including raising international awareness by attempting to stop annual slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan in 2007.

"There is nothing better than when I have nailed a difficult scene - the feeling of having gone to an unknown place with it. It's freeing to explore and express different emotions. "

Isabel’s management company, Meissner Management, reports that Isabel has been cast as Erica in the re-make of Red Dawn. This re-make is to be directed by Dan Bradley, and stars Chris Hemsworth (Isabel’s friend/ex-costar/ex-boyfriend!), Josh Hutcherson, Josh Peck and Adrianne Palicki. IMDB has a release date set at 24th September 2010, but I haven’t seen any details on when and where filming will take place yet.

You can read more about the original film at Wikipedia or IMDB, and stay tuned here for further news on Izzy’s involvement in the new version!

Thanks so much to Ida for the heads-up on this!

Thanks Ida! I’ll post about that now.

Christelle, you’re so lucky to have met Isabel! Unfortunately I am not able to contact Isabel so cannot forward your message – sorry. There are some addresses on this site in the Isabel > Contact section that might help you though, and I wish you good luck in trying to get in touch with her!
