A few days after I put up our pretty new layout here, I also put up a new layout in the Gallery! It almost matches the one here, except Flor used a different picture from the photoshoot … a photoshoot I can’t get enough of!
We have a few new gallery additions tonight – mostly photoshoots, including two that I hadn’t seen before, one of which is a super gorgeous, ethereal shot. Click the thumbnails at the bottom of this post to go to our Last Uploads page to see all of today’s uploads.

Isabel’s new movie Careful What You Wish For started filming in Charlotte, North Carolina earlier this week, and it looks as if there has been lots going on on the set already! The official Twitter for the film – @CWYWF – have been tweeting from the set with details on scenes and cast members. Isabel has been on set and several fan-taken photos of her have emerged online … they seem to be all over the place so unfortunately I don’t know who took them – if any of these are your photos then please get in touch so I can credit you for them or remove them if you’d prefer. Isabel looks glamourous, with blonde hair and red lips! It’s great to see her filming another new movie, and I’m already intrigued by the mystery in the story!
There is an official website for the film up at carefulwhatyouwishformovie.com, an official Twitter at @CWYWF, and the director can be followed at @thisislizallen.
Filming will continue in Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson, Mooresville, Belmont and Lake Norman, and is expected to last til May 22nd.

It seems The Wedding Party is getting a bit more promotion in the US, as a premiere for it was held in Los Angeles earlier this month. Isabel and director Amanda Jane were both in attendance, with Isabel looking pretty in a black sequinned jacket and red top (can’t see the bottom half unfortunately!). At first sight I thought she’d cut her hair short, but she’s actually just got it cleverly tied back. Whilst on the red carpet Isabel spoke of her delight at the film getting this premiere, saying:
“This is really special and I’m delighted to be here. It feels great for The Wedding Party to be picked up in the States. We all felt passionate about the script, and it’s wonderful that Film Festival Flix takes Indy, underdog films. This really was a love project for us.”
HighlightHollywood.com have a short article about the event which you can read at their site. It seems to have been a low key premiere, but I’ve managed to find 7 photos from it for you, and you can see them in our Gallery – Isabel is all smiles!

We’ve had a major lack of candids in the last few months, but by chance I have just found some new ones! Isabel was snapped walking in Studio City, Los Angeles at the end of March, wearing a little red dress, grey cardigan and her favourite headband. Check out the pics in our Gallery (and if you re-post them on Tumblr then please be nice and give us a credit link

Just over a week ago Isabel attended a photo exhibition hosted by Summit On The Summit to mark World Water Day. You might remember that it was the Summit On The Summit charity that Isabel climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with 3 years ago. SOTS is a charity concerned with bringing awareness to the need for more access to clean water around the world. Isabel looked pretty at this photo exhibition in a little peach YB J’Aime blouse and skirt from the Mademoiselle 2012 collection with a Proenza Schouler PS11 Classic bag, and posed with fellow supporters including her good friend, musician Kenna.
Photos from the exhibition have now been added to our Gallery:

Red Dawn was released on DVD and Blu-ray in the US recently, and I have now been able to add HD screencaptures from the film to our Gallery! Isabel unfortunately only had a small role in the film and didn’t have much to do. Still, it was nice seeing her on screen alongside Chris Hemsworth again, and seeing her take part in a bit of action!

Saving the best til last of our several updates today – we now have our first look at Isabel as Pauline in Electric Slide! Isabel’s involvement in this film was first reported on last October, and she has been filming the movie in Los Angeles in the time since then. The first still from the film has recenty been posted online, to accompany a Variety article about the potential sale of the film at the European Film Market currently being held in Berlin. It’s a long, long article with only a short mention of the film, talking about how the film may get an initial release on Video On Demand in the US. I’ve posted the excerpt relevant to Electric Slide below, and you can read the whole thing at the source linked beneath that. The still itself shows a hurried Pauline in a pretty red and black dress, being dragged along by Jim Sturgess’s character Eddie Dodson. Read back through our News Archive for the film to find out more about the story.
Are you excited for Electric Slide?

Digital distribution and compressed windows may not seem like the sexiest topics, but these two phenomena have bolstered an indie film world undercut by the crash of the DVD market. And whether it’s pre-theatrical VOD, day-and-date multiplatform distribution or ancillary windows far briefer than the customary three-month, compressed window releasing has become common enough — and sometimes profitable enough — to begin influencing how films are financed.

Whilst researching for our recently completed Charities page, I came across a previously unseen photo of Isabel visiting Williamstown Primary School way back in 2005. She was there in her role as ambassador for Global Green Plan to talk to the children about environment conservation, including pollution and emissions, energy-saving light bulbs, electric hybrid cars and being water wise. She also told them about the water and energy-saving house her parents were building in Queensland. Isabel visited the town’s high school 4 years later to promote the launch of their environmentally-focussed curriculum.
The picture is small but pretty and rare, and you can now find it in our Gallery. Read more about Isabel’s work for Global Green Plan on our Charities page.
