The all-new Australian Vogue iPad app launched today, and with that came a full set of photos from Isabel’s huge spread for the magazine!! The shoot is just gorgeous, and shows Isabel at her most natural and therefore most beautiful. I love the African landscape background and the super chic outfits Isabel is seen wearing. Just beautiful! The interview is of course a good read too, I particularly liked reading about Isabel’s thoughts on how she became more comfortable with working as an actor, and the whole interview just reminds me how sweet and unassuming she seems to be.

A really big thanks goes to my friend Maria for sending us snaps from the iPad app and giving us our first look at the spread! I’ve added various photos to the Gallery – some of which are from the iPad app, others just found on the web – to make up the whole spread. If we’re even luckier Isabel fans then we might have exclusive scans from the issue soon.

African Adventure With Isabel…

12,000 kilometers. 250kgs of luggage. Three planes, each decreasing in size, and ten intrepid travellers all added up to a truly epic adventure for the Vogue Australia team.

Inspired by the tribal motifs in the recent international resort collections, fashion director Naomi Smith wanted to capture the true heart of Africa. Who better to accompany us on our travels than nature-loving Isabel Lucas?

After completing her latest art-house movie Loft in Belgium, the free spirited actress relished the opportunity to be out in the wilds of Africa.

It was her fourth visit to the continent, a place she feels very connected with and inspired by. And while many other actresses may have shuddered at the thought of wild meerkats, Lucas delighted in having them climb all over her.

The team spent long hot dusty days shooting the latest collections against the vast savannah backdrop, watched over by passing wildebeest, ostriches and the occasional distant zebra.

Then as the African sun dipped, we headed back to the supremely elegant San Camp. Set on the very edge of the unforgiving Kalahari desert and cut off from all outside communications, the camp nonetheless provided every luxury, the same comforts enjoyed by rumoured recent royal visitors. However a moonlit walk accompanied by a guard on the look out for lions is a reminder that there is only one true star of this story: the majesty of Africa.

I’ve added HD screencaps from the recent Immortals clips and featurettes – the ‘Zeus Whips Ares’ clip and Poseidon featurette both include new shots of Isabel looking stunning and very ethereal as Athena, and the Costume Design featurette has a nice shot of the Gods on set against the green screen. These caps are particularly nice because they are in HD – ie large and good quality! I’ll be replacing our Athena featurette caps with HD versions soon.

Isabel’s Australian Vogue cover is here! As we reported previously, it was announced earlier this month that she would be gracing the cover of the December issue, and the Aussie Vogue team have since tweeted that Isabel’s feature was shot in Africa a couple of months ago. Today they have released the cover, and it is a good one! Isabel looks so stunning and natural (check out those freckles!), and the cover is really unique, I think. Check out the cover in our Gallery.

I believe this issue hits Aussie news-stands on November 2nd. We’ll have a full set of scans for you asap after that, so be sure to check back for them – judging by this cover I think we’re in for a special treat with the full spread…

Continuing the mass magazine promotion for Immortals, my friend Maria just alerted me to Isabel being featured in the new issue of Glamour UK! In the new 8-page photoshoot, Isabel models some chic and cool party looks – and she looks stunning! With her light blonde hair, she actually reminds me of Tasha in a few shots. Kristen Stewart is on the cover of the magazine. If you live in the UK, be sure to pick up a copy of this issue when it hits news-stands in the coming days.

I’ve added scans from the magazine to the Gallery, but will be on the lookout for better quality versions too.

I posted all the most recent Immortals clips and featurettes below, and I have now added some fantastic new HQ stills of Athena to our Gallery, along with a gorgeous new Athena poster and several other international Athena character posters. One of the stills we previously had, of Athena and Zeus, has also been replaced with a HQ version. Big thanks to LukeEvans_News over on Twitter for pointing us in the direction of a few stills/posters!

Whilst searching for the new stills I came across some new character descriptions from bollyspice.com, and this is Athena’s:

Athena (Isabel Lucas) – The Goddess of Wisdom and Zeus’ favorite daughter, Athena is her father’s trusted ally, protector and advisor. But when deadly warfare on earth threatens to destroy mankind, she defies Zeus and puts her wits to work building support for Theseus and his rebels among the divine inhabitants of Mount Olympus.

And from Poseidon’s official character description, it sounds like Athena has help from her Uncle in her battle to help the humans:

Poseidon (Kellan Lutz) – The God of the Sea, Poseidon is ordered by his brother Zeus to allow mankind to settle its own scores, no matter the consequences. But like Athena, Poseidon has a mind of his own, and he finds an ingenious way to aid Theseus and his supporters.

When I logged onto Twitter earlier I had a lovely surprise seeing the The Wedding Party twitter profile updated, and upon further viewing I discovered they had lots of new The Wedding Party content for us!

A new poster for the film has been released, and it’s very colourful and features a very pretty Isabel at the forefront. The official website has been redesigned and fully opened, and it contains some great cast and character information, plus an absolute TON of new stills and photos for the movie! This includes lots of fantastic new shots of Isabel as Ana. It’s a real treat browsing through them all, and I can tell just by looking at them that the film is going to be hilarious.

I’ve added the new poster, Isabel stills and behind the scenes photos to our Gallery for your easy browsing, but make sure you drop on by the official website as well to see all the new content there.

And remember, Isabel alongside TWP co-star Josh Lawson will be honoured at the Beverly Hills Film & TV Festival tonight as Best Hollywood Newcomers! A few days ago I added over 100 new photoshoots from one of Izzy’s most popular photoshoots, taken in 2007, and today we are lucky enough to have some HQs from that same photoshoot! I’ve replaced the 21 photos we originally had from this shoot with HQ versions and they’re definitely worth another look, they are such gorgeous quality!

More – yes, more – exciting news for us today Isabel fans, as my friend Maria has alerted me to the fact that Ms Lucas has a spread in the new issue of US Marie Claire magazine! It’s a fantastic, fun and funky 8 page spread inside the issue, with all-new photos and a brief article/interview. I love this photoshoot, the colours really pop out against the brown. And I’ve said it before but will say it again, it’s so great seeing Izzy featured in so many international and reputable magazines now!

The issue has Katie Holmes on the cover, so next time you’re at a news-stand, keep your eyes peeled and pick up a copy to enjoy Izzy’s spread up-close.
