With not one but two brow-raising films released in 2009, it’s no surprise that The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Up In The Air, and Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World star Anna Kendrick is making headlines. She was recently featured in Vanity Fair’s “Opening Acts” series for her work in both films. Says Vanity Fair, “Kendrick made her name in the original Twilight movie” and “shines as George Clooney’s tightly wound underling in Jason Reitman’s well-timed dramedy about corporate cost-cutting.” Kendrick is featured as the first of eleven stars, including The Debt star Jessica Chastain, All Good Things star Lily Rabe, Alice In Wonderland star Mia Wasikowska, Cold Souls star Katheryn Winnick, Days of Summer star Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tetro star Alden Ehrenreich, Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen star Isabel Lucas, True Blood star Anna Paquin, and G.I. Joe: Rise Of The Cobra star Channing Tatum. Each of these actors and actresses were chosen for a specific month, and Kendrick’s is for January 2010. |

Current episodes of Home & Away on Five in the UK have been put on hold for 4 weeks to increase the gap between Aus and UK episodes. In place, they will be showing 4 weeks of old episodes, in a feature called ‘Sun, Sea and Scandal’. There are bound to be a few from Isabel’s time on the show, so keep your eyes peeled! Isabel is featured in the current August issue of Total Film (UK) magazine (Sienna Miller/G.I. Joe cover). It’s only a one-page feature, but it features a gorgeous new-old picture which is an out-take from her 2007 FHM photoshoot. I’ll scan it for us asap |

New to the fashion circus, Isabel Lucas, the Australian actress who’s won international fame for her role in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” said she’s rapidly adjusting to the limelight. “It has been a whirlwind. I’ve had a very tight schedule,” she related. Based on the previous article, it sounds like Isabel is going to be in the new issue of Australian Vogue! How exciting!! This is probably the August issue. It will feature a new interview, and quite possibly new photos as well. Can’t wait to see it! DESPITE being one of the hottest young stars in Hollywood, Isabel Lucas can’t find a bloke – and is happily single. “I haven’t dated anyone since June last year and I think it has been really positive for me to be solo and have time on my own,” Lucas has told Vogue Australia, out next Wednesday. The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star has had a series of high profile loves, including Entourage star, Adrian Grenier. She also looked very cosy with Joel Edgerton, her co-star in The Waiting City, when they were snapped kissing on the beach at Byron Bay in January, then cuddling up at an outdoor cinema venue in Melbourne in February. But the 24-year-old stunner has quashed any reports that the pair were a couple in the interview. Just good friends, we guess. |
