AUSTRALIAN beauties have stolen the limelight on the final day of New York Fashion Week. Actresses Isabel Lucas and Naomi Watts sat in the front row at the Calvin Klein show alongside Kate Bosworth and supermodel Helena Christensen, the stars later kicking up their heels at the show’s after-party held in the city’s meatpacking district. The event closed the 2010 autumn shows, which also saw the folding of the Bryant Park tents where the key industry event has been held for the past 18 years. From next season, the fashion pack will flock to the Lincoln Centre. Transformers star and former Home and Away actress Isabel Lucas wore a white shift dress with rounded shoulders that was straight off the runway, pairing it with grey snakeskin ankle boots and unbrushed hair. |

Izzy has jetted back to America from Oz, and yesterday appeared at two Calvin Klein events at Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in New York! She was seen on the Front Row for the designers Fall 2010 Collection and also at the After Party. First Chanel, now Calvin Klein – the world’s top designers seem to love Isabel!! She was seen alongside other big-name Hollywood actresses at the show, including one of my other all-times favourites, Naomi Watts!! Photos have been added to our Gallery. The Calvin Klein Women’s Collection show boasted one of the most star-studded line-ups of the week. Knockout Naomi Watts paused to strike a pose with Kate Bosworth before the pair joined Kerry Washington, Isabel Lucas, and Helena Christensen in the front row. The perfectly poised stars showed off excellent posture and matching sets of bare legs. While genes certainly play a part in looking that good, it’s nice to know that Christensen makes an effort to keep up her apparent perfection. “I started boxing two years ago and that is a hell of a workout,” she said. The five front-row bombshells are veterans to the fashion scene, but one of their seat-mates admitted that getting dressed wasn’t her strong suit. “I know jack about fashion!” said Whoopi Goldberg. Fortunately, she’d asked the right friend to play tour guide this week. “I have been hanging out with this fabulous man here. He’s taking me around and showing me lots of different things.” Whoopi said, gesturing to Vogue’s André Leon Talley. He knows a thing or two. |

I (finally) added photos of Izzy at the Daybreakers Sydney premiere yesterday! Most of the photos are HQ. Her dress is unusual and unique, and I love it! Well this came as a nice surprise! The Golden Globe Awards were held in Beverley Hills last night, and Isabel made an appearance at one of the after parties! She attended the InStyle and Warner Bros Post Party, and wore a hippie-esque Chanel dress with a matching scarf – very unique! It’s so nice seeing her at such a big event – she’s obviously making waves in Hollywood! 24 photos of the party have been added to our Gallery, and I will be looking out for more photos! At the People’s Choice Awards held in Los Angeles last night, they featured a video link with the Summit On The Summit Mt Kilimanjaro climbers, including Isabel! I don’t know whether it was live or not, but from the looks of them in comparison to the photos on the official SOTS site I’d say it was filmed yesterday. As awards host Queen Latifah said, for the first time ever, the People’s Choice Awards had an official charity, which was/is the Children’s Safe Drinking Water. She then explained that the SOTS team were climbing Mt Kili to raise awareness of the need for safe drinking water, and a tiny video of Kenna and the team thanking the PCA’s for talking about the clean water crisis was shown. Our lovely Isabel attended a ‘pre-ascent’ event for the upcoming Summit on the Summit Mount Kilimanjaro climb last night. I’ve added over 80 photos of Isabel at Spike TV’s Scream Awards last night, 50+ of which are in HQ! While this is not my favourite look of Isabel’s – I wish she’d tone down the tan! – I love that she’s blonde again, and it’s so great to see her at an event like this. Plus, I’m so proud of Izzy for winning the award More photos will be added very soon. Exciting news – Isabel has won the award for Breakout Female Performance at the 2009 Spike TV’s Scream Awards! This was of course for her role as Alice in Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen. Izzy beat out Anna Torv (“Fringe”), Zoe Saldana (“Star Trek”), Lorna Raver (“Drag Me To Hell”), Lena Leandersson (“Let The Right One In”) and Malin Akerman (“Watchmen”) for her deserving win.
