Back in October during the promotion for Immortals, Izzy dropped by the Young Hollywood Studios for a quick chat! It was a nice interview, in which Izzy talked about her Immortals gold costume and the fighting in the movie, as well as explaining some Aussie slang to everyone. Based on what she’s wearing, I’d say the interview took place on the Immortals press day, the same day as these photos were taken.

BYRON Bay may be in the process of being overrun by over-excited school leavers, but that didn’t stop Isabel Lucas and musician boyfriend Angus Stone enjoying a relaxing stroll through the centre of town.
The hippie couple stood out like sore thumbs among the schoolies, and were captured enjoying some Cold Rock ice cream.
Super-slender actress-activist Lucas carried a laptop case.
The bohemian pair has been inseparable since Lucas returned from a three-year stint in Los Angeles, recently releasing a film clip together for the Protect Our Coral Sea initiative.
Stone, half of the hit Sydney sibling duo with sister Julia Stone, is due to head to Bali in January with his sister to film a video for their next single.
Lucas is starring in new hit US movie Immortals, is likely to accompany her man for the trip.
The Sydney Morning Herald have published a new interview with Isabel, in which she talks about the usual things, but as always it’s a very interesting read. Her big break in the US may have been stymied by a film studio in free-fall but former soap star and notorious environmental activist Isabel Lucas now appears set for well-earned breakout success in 2011.
Having survived the collapse of MGM (best known as the long-time home to James Bond’s 007 licence), Lucas’s follow-up to 2009′s big-screen debut, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, is Red Dawn , which is firmly back on track for its blockbuster release. And, as if to make up for lost time, there’s a second major film due out as well.
In addition to the long-delayed remake of the 1980s cult hit – in which Lucas stars opposite fellow Melburnian Chris Hemsworth – audiences will also see the starlet alongside A-listers Mickey Rourke, Stephen Dorff and John Hurt in the Greek mythology drama Immortals. The two films are polar opposites for the 26-year-old, who was famously plucked from acting college when she was 17 and groomed for her Australian soap debut in 2002.
“I’ve heard it’s amazing but I haven’t seen the finished product yet,” she says of Red Dawn. “We were doing boot camps and martial-arts training, learning to use different weaponry in the cold Detroit winter. It’s classic action. When you’re an actor, when opportunities come up, you go with the flow. You jump.”

Isabel Lucas is singing a new tune
SHE has a key role in the new Australian musical A Heartbeat Away and recently popped up on YouTube performing a duet with US actor-musician Lukas Haas, but Isabel Lucas says the closest she has come to live singing is an occasional lounge-room jam session with her boyfriend Angus Stone.
“At this stage, I am focused on my acting career,” says the LA-based actor, who got her first big overseas break as a sexually voracious alien in 2009′s Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.
Such single-mindedness goes some way to explaining why Lucas doesn’t actually sing, as is implied, on Lucas and Lukas’s Made For You – the clip is in fact an unorthodox viral marketing campaign, launched by European band The Gift.
The pair were hired to generate a bit of buzz before the outfit’s upcoming album release.
And although the former Home And Away star took singing lessons growing up, and learnt to play guitar for a small role opposite Joel Edgerton in The Waiting City, neither talent was required by her character in A Heartbeat Away.

SHE likes a man with a beard, so it’s no shock that there are relationship rumours about Isabel Lucas and Angus Stone.
Lucas arrived in Sydney last week ahead of tonight’s ARIA Awards, where Angus & Julia Stone will perform. Our spies spotted the actress getting into Stone’s car outside a Surry Hills cafe on Thursday. And it’s not the first time they’ve been seen together.
The two were snapped in Los Angeles in May having lunch, and Lucas was sitting front row at a Philadelphia gig the band performed last month.
Lucas, who once dated Adrian Grenier, is expected to walk the red carpet tonight at the ARIAs. Their managers did not return our calls, but we think the bohemians make a cute couple.

By coincidence, the Australian actress and her old flame are both in Melbourne, where she is attending the city’s film festival and he is promoting his new documentary Teenage Paparazzo.
Lucas, who appeared in the second Transformers movie, said she was hoping to meet Entourage star Grenier “for tea”, though whether she meant a cuppa or a dinner wasn’t clear.
She told Channel 7′s Sunrise program: “He’s really excited about Teenage Paparazzo. I hope we can meet up for tea. I have seen edits of his movie from about two years ago but I haven’t seen the final cut. I’m looking forward to seeing it.”
Talking about actors being celebrities, the LA-based actress said: “I don’t really get involved in that. I just keep myself separate from that side. I don’t go out a lot. Yes, there will be a lot of speculation and it makes for an unusual situation.”

DESPITE being one of the hottest young stars in Hollywood, Isabel Lucas can’t find a bloke – and is happily single.
“I haven’t dated anyone since June last year and I think it has been really positive for me to be solo and have time on my own,” Lucas has told Vogue Australia, out next Wednesday.
The Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen star has had a series of high profile loves, including Entourage star, Adrian Grenier.
She also looked very cosy with Joel Edgerton, her co-star in The Waiting City, when they were snapped kissing on the beach at Byron Bay in January, then cuddling up at an outdoor cinema venue in Melbourne in February.
But the 24-year-old stunner has quashed any reports that the pair were a couple in the interview. Just good friends, we guess.
