Support Sea Shepherd
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society (SSCS) is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Our mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Sea Shepherd could not think of a more brave, passionate and dedicated activist and friend of the whales, than Isabel Lucas, also known for her role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Isabel has stepped up for duty for the oceans numerous times, including raising international awareness by attempting to stop annual slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan in 2007.
"I find it tricky to make plans. I go by intuition. Work-wise, that means asking myself if a role will push me outside my comfort zone, challenge me to learn something new. It's [all down to] instinct and gut.

Earlier today Isabel attended the opening of the Louis Vuitton Maison Australia in Sydney. She looked striking in a unique half navy-half patterned 3/4 length dress (from the LV Pre-Fall 2011 collection) with strappy black sandal heels and her blonde hair left naturally down. What do you think of this look on Isabel? Isabel posed on the red carpet with LV chairman and CEO Yves Carcelle.
Scroll on down this post for an article with more information on the opening of LV’s new store, and find 11 photos – including 3 HQs – from the event in our Gallery!
It was a little too chilly for togas, but Relativity threw a Greek-themed bash for the premiere of its epic fantasy Immortals.
Held at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live with a party on top of a nearby parking structure, the stars came out: Henry Cavill, Mickey Rourke, Freida Pinto, Luke Evans and Isabel Lucas were among those who held court not far from hearty Greek food and a photo station whose high-end props vied with Cavill for the evening’s most popular attraction.
Watching it all unfold was Ryan Kavanaugh, whose Relativity bankrolled the lavish telling of Theseus’ battles with a vicious king. Relativity recently turned from a studio co-financier to producer and distributor. Immortals marks a new high for the company because of the scope and budget.
“It’s a big tentpole movie, and I think it’s important to show we can open a tentpole movie,” Kavanaugh said inside the party.
The movie’s budget is reportedly in the $90 million range, and the company, due to foreign pre-sales, isn’t on the hook for the entire project. “Because of the way our structure is set up, we don’t need to hit a home-run on every movie to make it, and we’ll never be in a position where one movie can take us down,” said Kavanaugh.
Isabel attended the world premiere of Immortals in Los Angeles last night, and she looked stunning! All her main co-stars were also in attendance, and Izzy posed with Kellan Lutz and Freida Pinto on the red carpet, and with Henry Cavill and Freida inside at the after-party. They’re a pretty beautiful cast, don’t you think?
Isabel wore a pale pink (?) satin dress by Roksanda Ilincic dress which had contrasting burgundy straps and a daring split up the front, nude strappy heel shoes by Stuart Weitzman, and minimal jewelley from Gray Gallery. Her very blonde hair was styled iron straight, with pretty braids to frame her face – adding her typical hippie vibe to the outfit! What do you think about this look on Miss Lucas? I really like it – I like seeing her glammed up but still remaining true to herself in that style. So it’s a thumbs up from me!
I’ve added 45 HQ photos to the Gallery to start our collection off, including some super gorgeous close-up shots, plus the cutest shot of Isabel giving the cameras her biggest grin! She seems to be getting a lot more confident on the red carpet. Lots more photos will be added later today and in the coming days.
Further down this post are a couple of videos with footage of Iz on the red carpet plus a great interview on the red carpet with her and Freida.
EDIT: Another 35 HQ photos have been added to our Gallery, and I’ve also posted another few videos from the red carpet further down this post.
Tonight is the big red carpet premiere night! Hopefully Isabel will be in attendance, and if she is, expect as many pictures as I can gather up here for you tomorrow.

Last weekend Izzy continued her support of the Transparent Sea initiative, attending an awareness event in Malibu. She was photographed with Catherine Clark, a singer, surfer, and fellow activist. The official Transparent Sea website have posted a snap of Izzy at the event, and I have added it into our Gallery. Further down this page is an article about the event too, from the same source.
Given that Izzy was in Australia earlier this week I think she has concluded her Transparent Sea journey for now, but if you’re interested in keeping track of what the remaining group are up to, make sure you visit the official Transparent Sea website.
Isabel is back in Australia, and earlier today (evening in Australia) attended the Australian Launch of ASOS in Sydney! Being the current ASOS cover girl she was a big part of their launch party, and posed for the waiting photographers in and outside of the venue. Isabel looked her usual hippy self in a brown-orange dress with a brown cardigan, and a beaded headpiece. What do you think of Isabel’s look here?
Further down this post are a few tidbits from the event, and in our Gallery you will find 45+ photos, including 12 gorgeous HQs! I’ll be keeping an eye out for more from this event too.
Visit the Australian brand of the online store at asos.com/au.
EDIT: We now know what Isabel is wearing at the event – her tan dress is the “Carine” dress from the Alexa Chung for Madewell collection, and is available from the ASOS.com website. Her shoes and drape are also from ASOS, and her bag and headpiece are vintage.
As expected, Isabel attended the premiere of Minds In The Water at the Artivist Film Festival a few days ago. So far I’ve only come across a few pictures, but we can see Isabel wearing a pretty white dress with her blonde hair styled down, posing with her friends and fellow activists Dave Rastovich and Hannah Fraser.
A couple of photos have been added to the Gallery, one of which was tweeted by @HumaneSociety, and you can watch a few videos from the screening further down this post. As we posted about a few weeks ago, Isabel took part in a Q&A about the documentary and dolphins after the screening. Not only have the Artivist Film Festival posted videos from that, but we also have a lovely interview with Izzy from the red carpet!
You can also find several more photos posted here, although as they have the photographers name stamped on them they are obviously personal photos so we won’t be posting them here.
Minds in the Water is a feature-length documentary following the quest of professional surfer Dave Rastovich and his friends to protect dolphins, whales and the oceans they all share. Through Dave’s journey—a five-year adventure spanning the globe from Australia to the Galapagos, Tonga, California, Alaska and Japan—we see one surfer’s quest to activate his community to help protect the ocean and it’s inhabitants.
- I’ve just come across another behind the scenes video from the set of Loft. Unfortunately I don’t see Isabel in it, but it’s worth a watch anyway.
Check out a shorter behind the scenes video from the film that we previously posted here.
- I’ve also read that on July 13th Isabel attended a dinner/party for the US-Belgian cast and crew of the movie, hosted by US ambassador Howard Gutman. Also attending were director Erik Van Looy, writer Bart De Pauw, and co-stars James Marsden and Eric Stonestreet. The Ambassador gave a brief speech at the dinner, and said how this production was an example of how US and Belgian cultural ties can be deepened, and that those working on this production were all ambassadors. I haven’t found any pics of Isabel at the event yet.
- The Loft will be released by Kinepolis on March 28th 2012 in Belgium/Holland.
We are very lucky Isabel fans today! As we all know, Isabel was honoured at the Young Hollywood Awards last week, receiving the award for Female Star Of Tomorrow. The show aired on TV in the US yesterday, and today, thanks to our fantastic friend Jessica we are lucky enough to have exclusive screencaps and a video of Isabel’s acceptance speech! Isabel’s speech was unsurprisingly short, saying the award was “lovely”, that she wanted to accept the award on behalf of all the other “young, aspiring actors” and that we should always remember to dream, and congratulated all the other honourees of the night. Typically humble and sweet! They also showed a clip from her biggest scene in The Pacific (a great choice!), and Josh Peck gave a lovely introductory speech about Isabel. Congratulations once again to Izzy.
We have 93 screencaps from the presentation in our Gallery, and you can download our exclusive video below. Kindly do not redistribute the video as it was made just for Isabel Lucas Online.
A big thanks again goes to Jessica for making the video and caps for us – this is Isabel’s first big US award, so I think I speak for all of us when I say we’re very grateful to be able to get a video of it.
Isabel at the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards 3:03 mins | 15 MB
Isabel looked stunning last night at the Young Hollywood Awards, wearing a floor length halter neck white lace gown with embroidering and tiny flower detailing. Her blonde was left casually down with a loose braid round the back. Accessories wise, she keeps it simple as always, with small pearl earrings and a silver clutch. I love this look on Isabel! She looks sophisticated but keeps her look unique and true to herself.
Inside the event, we of course know that Isabel was honoured with the Star Of Tomorrow Female award, and this was presented to her by her Red Dawn co-star Josh Peck.
The first HQ photos have been added to our Gallery, and many more are on their way! I’ll also be updating this post with any videos, tidbits, quotes, articles etc. I can find during the day from the event. Hopefully some red carpet videos will turn up. All being well we’ll have a video of the award presentation itself next week, after the show airs on TV on Thursday.
What are your thoughts on Isabel’s look? Tell us in the comments!
EDIT: I’ve now added another 89 photos from the event, 53 of which are in HQ! Big thanks to Claudia and Sam for their help collecting the HQs for Isabel Lucas Online. There are some really nice photos of Isabel posing with other honorees and young celebs inside the event – don’t miss the pic of her having a good laugh with Josh Peck inside! She seems to be having fun and enjoying the night.
I’ve also discovered that Isabel’s dress is Ralph Lauren.
