On August 27th Izzy attended the “Don’t Forget” Haiti Judith Leiber Event to Benefit Vital Voices, co-hosted by fellow actresses Maria Bello and Patricia Arquette. She’s wearing the same dress she was seen in in the candids taken on the same day, and I think it looks great on her! Photos from this event – in HQ – have been added to the Gallery. We also have new candids of Izzy out and about in Los Angeles yesterday. She doesn’t look too happy which makes me a bit uneasy (see the post below this). Yesterday in Beverley Hills, Isabel attended artist Tasya van Ree’s ‘Untitled Project’ exhibition. She looked very hippie-chic and very Isabel in a long flowing creme dress with flowers, orange scarf and ‘bed hair’. She also looks to be carrying her favourite little black fur-trimmed jacket, which we’ve seen her wear at a few events. Isabel was photographed alongside fellow Hollywood beauty Amber Heard, and Tasya herself. You can see some of Tasya’s work at her official site and Facebook page. As promised, I have another update for you! More HQs from yesterday’s The Wedding Party premiere have popped up, so I’ve added them to the Gallery. Being the lovely person that she is, Isabel attended the presentation of her friend and ex-boyfriend Adrian Grenier‘s documentary Teenage Paparazzo at the Melbourne Film Festival earlier today. She was wearing a quirky outfit of a black dress, blue jacket, boots and oversized sunglasses. The first photos have been added to our Gallery for your viewing pleasure! Earlier today (remember the time differences, non-Aussie visitors!) was the Opening Night of the Melbourne International Film Festival where The Wedding Party received its world premiere! As expected, Isabel was in attendance at the event, and she looked super classy in a black dress and dark brown hair. Surprisingly, I’ve only been able to find 4 photos from the premiere so far, so they have been added to the Gallery. If you come across any more photos from the event then please send them my way for me to share with everyone on here! Opening night of the Melbourne International Film Festival brings out the glitterati but not the Twitterati, writes Suzanne Carbone. MAKE it a jumbo box of popcorn because the Melbourne International Film Festival screens 226 films and 99 shorts across 18 days. Sounds frenetic but not as frenetic as Rhonda Burchmore was last night. As a star of opening-night film The Wedding Party, red-hot Rhonda graced the red carpet outside the Regent Theatre in a sparkly mini at 6.40pm, climbed the stairs to a pre-film reception – but couldn’t stay for the film. Unfortunately, she had a pre-existing commitment. That was dashing to the Comedy Theatre at 7.30pm to dress for Calendar Girls at 8pm, the show where she sheds those clothes. It’s not over yet. When the curtain lowered at 10.30pm, Burchmore dashed back to the Regent ballroom for the film-festival after-party to sing a tune from the film, At Last, from the Juliet balcony. The mission was accomplished with the help of her trusty driver, husband Nikolai. Back to the red carpet, where Burchmore posed with co-stars Isabel Lucas, Josh Lawson, Adam Zwar, Nadine Garner, Essie Davis, Steve Bisley and director Amanda Jane. Hollywood star Adrian Grenier, here for his film Teenage Paparazzo, sensed he wasn’t dressing for the Oscars and wore a cardigan and scarf with his trousers and shirt. Sizing up the red carpet and the modest crowd gathered, he said: ”It’s a cute effort.” |

AUSTRALIAN beauties have stolen the limelight on the final day of New York Fashion Week. Actresses Isabel Lucas and Naomi Watts sat in the front row at the Calvin Klein show alongside Kate Bosworth and supermodel Helena Christensen, the stars later kicking up their heels at the show’s after-party held in the city’s meatpacking district. The event closed the 2010 autumn shows, which also saw the folding of the Bryant Park tents where the key industry event has been held for the past 18 years. From next season, the fashion pack will flock to the Lincoln Centre. Transformers star and former Home and Away actress Isabel Lucas wore a white shift dress with rounded shoulders that was straight off the runway, pairing it with grey snakeskin ankle boots and unbrushed hair. |

Izzy has jetted back to America from Oz, and yesterday appeared at two Calvin Klein events at Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in New York! She was seen on the Front Row for the designers Fall 2010 Collection and also at the After Party. First Chanel, now Calvin Klein – the world’s top designers seem to love Isabel!! She was seen alongside other big-name Hollywood actresses at the show, including one of my other all-times favourites, Naomi Watts!! Photos have been added to our Gallery.
