Sea Shepherd could not think of a more brave, passionate and dedicated activist and friend of the whales, than Isabel Lucas, also known for her role in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Isabel has stepped up for duty for the oceans numerous times, including raising international awareness by attempting to stop annual slaughter of dolphins in Taiji, Japan in 2007.

CURRENT Australian international “it’ girl Isabel Lucas recently complained of being single for a year, so we’re wondering how a reunion with her ex Adrian Grenier went in New York yesterday. The pair were a Hollywood item for a few months early last year but clearly remained friends as they caught up in Sydney when the Entourage star toured with his band last summer.
This time the eco-warriors – she was arrested in Japan during an anti-whaling protest, while he produced the Alter Eco documentary series she featured in – got together at a film premiere.
It was for The Cove, a doco about an annual dolphin hunt near a Japanese fishing town that premiered to great praise at the Sydney Film Festival last month.
It also has an Australian connection, having been produced by Kristy Hinze’s billionaire husband Jim Clark.
Lucas has been on the move for months, most recently touring the world promoting Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen, in which she stars.
New to the fashion circus, Isabel Lucas, the Australian actress who’s won international fame for her role in “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” said she’s rapidly adjusting to the limelight. “It has been a whirlwind. I’ve had a very tight schedule,” she related. Accompanied by her law graduate sister Nina, who was also decked out in Chanel, Lucas said she’s looking forward to wearing more couture for a spread in Italian Vogue.

SHE came home to Sydney to promote the new Transformers movie but Isabel Lucas’s over-zealous US publicist meant the trip was largely wasted.
Photographers were not only barred from any interviews she conducted, they were not allowed at Tuesday night’s premiere in Bondi Junction.
It’s understood Lucas was happy to pose – and did for an old paparazzo friend who contacted her directly.
Instead of vivid photos of Lucas at the launch, her US publicist, who flew back to LA with her charge yesterday, issued this bland handout photograph.
While the Westfield cinema complex has held many red carpet affairs, a Paramount spokeswoman yesterday said it was “too small” to stage one. It’s understood while Paramount wanted to open the event to photographers, the unnamed US publicist refused.
Shia LaBeouf admits he’s the luckiest guy in the world after kissing both US star Megan Fox and Aussie actress Isabel Lucas in the latest Transformers movie.
But the 22-year-old actor wisely opted not to disclose which kiss was better at a news conference for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in Tokyo on Tuesday.
“Oh Christ, thank you, I appreciate that question,” deadpanned LaBeouf, who was flanked on stage by the two beauties.
“It’s incomparable, they are both specimens cut out of stone.
“I’m the luckiest dude in the world clearly. Anything beyond these answers and I start getting in trouble.”
