Izzy was snapped leaving a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday, looking very pretty in a typically eclectic outfit (which she looks pretty good in!). I’ve added HQ candids from this sighting to our Gallery for you.
I’ve also spent a while updating our Biography, and I hope it reads ok! And I’ve added 3 new Polls for you to vote on if you choose – favourite Home & Away storylines, favourite character style, and what you’d like to see Isabel do next
EDITED on March 29th: Thanks to our visitor Charles, we now know that Isabel’s top is by Sydney designer ‘Lucy Lane Vintage‘. Lucy puts her designs together using second-hand vintage fabrics. You can visit her Facebook page here – she has some really cute clothes! And according to StyleXpose.com her collection ‘A little birdie told me’ will be available to buy online this year.

I decided it might be fun/useful to have a Facebook page for Isabel Lucas Online, so have recently created one for us! You can find us on Facebook HERE. I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea how pages work on Facebook, and I don’t really know how to use it. But please LIKE us, and maybe some of you will write on our wall, share photos of Isabel etc. and we can get the page going. And if anyone wants to tell me how best to run a Facebook page then please let me know
‘LIKE’ Isabel Lucas Online on Facebook
I’ve taken a break from Home & Away caps and in the past couple of days I have been working on our Filmography. ALL the pages have been updated with new information/trivia/quotes/etc., and I’ve added information for Isabel’s recent Gap ads, ‘Made For You’ music video and MTV Kilimanjaro documentary. It’s looking pretty extensive now, so I hope you all enjoy it and find it useful. As always, let me know if you have any suggestions. I’ve also updated and re-organised our Quotes page. I’ll be working on our Home & Away filmography section next, including adding more mini episode guides – there’s a lot to do in that section so it will take some time but will hopefully be worth it!
Enjoy the content updates, and check back very soon for more H&A caps and other gallery updates
AdelaideNow.com.au have posted a new interview with Isabel to promote A Heartbeat Away. As well as that new film, Isabel also talks about Immortals, her life in LA, making movies in LA and Australia, and travelling. Read it in our Press section!
Isabel Lucas is singing a new tune
SHE has a key role in the new Australian musical A Heartbeat Away and recently popped up on YouTube performing a duet with US actor-musician Lukas Haas, but Isabel Lucas says the closest she has come to live singing is an occasional lounge-room jam session with her boyfriend Angus Stone.
“At this stage, I am focused on my acting career,” says the LA-based actor, who got her first big overseas break as a sexually voracious alien in 2009′s Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen.
Such single-mindedness goes some way to explaining why Lucas doesn’t actually sing, as is implied, on Lucas and Lukas’s Made For You – the clip is in fact an unorthodox viral marketing campaign, launched by European band The Gift.
The pair were hired to generate a bit of buzz before the outfit’s upcoming album release.
And although the former Home And Away star took singing lessons growing up, and learnt to play guitar for a small role opposite Joel Edgerton in The Waiting City, neither talent was required by her character in A Heartbeat Away.

I’ve been working on various updates for you around the site this weekend. The following content pages have been updated: Isabel With Other Celebrities, Polls, Isabel’s Favourites, Style Rundown, Quotes, and Trivia. Plus I’ve made 8 new fun Puzzles for you. I’ve also briefly updated the A Heartbeat Away and Immortals filmography pages, and there will be more filmog updates coming soon.
As for Gallery updates, I’ve added more HQs from the recent Chanel Pre-Oscar party and from one of the Calvin Klein fashion shows Izzy attended last year (thanks to my wonderful friend Maria for them). I’ve replaced our Tourism Victoria advert screencaps with larger and slightly better quality caps. And added some more pics from the set of Home & Away.
And last but definitely not least, I’ve been scouring the web for scans of Isabel’s feature in last weeks Sunday magazine, and I’ve come across various pictures from it. So, I’ve added what I’ve found – a couple are good quality while the others are not, but the photos are great and any look at them is better than nothing!!
If any of our lovely Aussie visitors can help us out and provide a full set of scans from this Sunday magazine then please, please get in touch!
Whilst working on this, I’ve been downloading another batch of Home & Away episodes, so look out for more screencaps from the show soon!

Today’s issue of Australia’s Daily Telegraph paper has a new interview – and photoshoot – with Miss Lucas! The interview is a good read, and their focus on the “contrasts” and “contradictions”, as they say, of Isabel is very interesting.
The interview has been added to our Press page, and the photos to our Gallery.
Hippie or Hollywood Diva?
SHE’S the Hollywood starlet with a boho heart, but it’s not all peace and love with Isabel Lucas. Meg Mason delves deeper and discovers the steely determination of a girl who knows what she wants.
Isabel Lucas is a lesson in contradictions. In person and onscreen, the Australian actor comes across as the consummate starlet – luminously pretty, composed, with just the right amount of quirkiness.
But buried within that, there’s something else; a natural reserve and stand-offishness that adds up to an edge as sharp as those famous cheekbones.
The 26-year-old admits she’s so shy, her hands start shaking when she spots a paparazzi flash. “I have to go over and introduce myself,” she muses. “That’s the only thing I can do – create a human connection – so it doesn’t feel as though they’re stalking me.”
Marching up to hardened paps with an outstretched hand is a bold move for a Hollywood newcomer, and it says something else entirely about the tough interior she hides so well. During our photoshoot, she floats around the studio like a woodland sprite, but get her started on any of her passions and she adopts a direct tone, speaking at length about Japanese whaling, clean water or other causes close to her heart.
Any remaining notion of a carefree flower-child vanishes in the hair stylist’s chair, when Lucas decides the results aren’t to her liking. She politely but insistently takes over, while the crew waits. Even the outfit she arrives in is a study in contrasts: a well-loved Chanel bag and a pair of eco-friendly Toms loafers, perfectly in keeping with the power-hippie look that’s made her a staple for style bloggers and fashion magazines.

As promised in my previous post, I have some media to add for you, and I thought I’d add it sooner rather than later as it’s so pretty! First off, my awesome friend Melanie has made 30+ super-pretty new icons for us! I always love her icons, and she’s used some of my favourite photos/sets of Izzy for us.
And thanks to the wonderful Emma we have a new page in the Media section now – Animations – as she has contributed a lovely A Heartbeat Away animation! Hopefully we’ll have some more of her work to display here soon.
Remember, if you’ve created any Izzy media (whether it be icons, wallpapers, banners, blends … anything at all) and would like to see it displayed here on Isabel Lucas Online then please let me know! I’d really love to display more of your artwork here

What with it being near the end of the year, and the start of a new one, I thought it was time for a bit of a tidy-up of our content. So I’ve been through all our pages and added/updated various pages. Newly added pages are Desktop Icons and Through The Years, and updated pages are Awards & Nominations, Favourites, Name Analysis, Quotes, Icons, Bookmarks, Isabel With Other Celebrities, and About Isabel Lucas Online. Still to come are Biography and Filmography updates, Screensavers, more Puzzles, an affiliates tidy-up and more Link Buttons.
Speaking of content, I’m hesitant to add much more because I don’t know if there’s any interest there. So if there is something else you’d like to see on this site that we don’t already have then I would love to hear from you!! Have a look at some of my other sites for ideas if you want. Send me an email or post a comment here with any ideas and suggestions, and if they are possible, I will be more than happy to get to work on them straight away!
I have a little Christmas treat for you today! I have added screencaps from Isabel’s 2nd episode of Home & Away, and I am also posting the video of it further down this post for you! It’s a great episode, in which the feral Tasha gets caught by Max and Flynn, and it is of course the start of her integration into the Summer Bay community! I’ve also added caps from another 2 later and less Tasha-centric episodes.
As well as screencaps, I’ve also updated our Style Rundown page with Isabel’s outfits from the past few months, and added a page for the new music video Izzy is starring in. Many thanks go to the producer and director of the video, Chris Groban, for the filming details.
I may add some appearance HQs later, but if not, this will most likely be the last update before Christmas. There may be more updates before New Year, but either way, you can expect an End Of Year special update (like last years) here before then!
EDIT: I just noticed our older News posts are not archived properly for you to browse through, so I have now fixed that! You will now find a ‘Browse The News Archives’ link at the bottom of this page for you to be able to look and search back through all the news & updates posted here

As you can all see, Isabel Lucas Online has a gorgeous brand new layout! This unique design was made for us by Mycah – our first 2 layouts showed off the beachy/ocean side of Isabel’s personality, so this time I wanted to focus on the earthy aspect, and I think Mycah has done a perfect job on that! The photos used are from Izzy’s 2009 Italian Vogue spread, which is another of my absolute favourite Isabel photoshoots, and perfect for the feel I wanted the layout to have.
I adore the layout and hope you do too, so don’t hesitate to leave a comment if you want to share your opinions!
