Isabel lent her face to popular US brand Gap in late 2010, and was part of their Holiday 2010 ‘Want’ campaign. She was featured alongside fellow Aussie and former Home & Away star Ryan Kwanten, plus model Lauren Bush, actor Donald Glover, dancer Benjamin Millepied (Natalie Portman’s fiance) and a number of other actors, musicians, artists and entrepreneurs. Isabel modelled the Sequin Zip Jacket, Mixed Media Tank, Black Always Skinny Jean, Silver Scarf and the Sequin Tote, and the adverts looked very festive set against old red city buildings with snow falling around.
The Want campaign utilized Facebook and posted various videos of the celebrities (although not Isabel) on their page. Each of the celebrities modelling for the campaign were championing a charitable cause closest to their heart, and each time someone ‘Liked’ a video on Gap’s Facebook page, the company said they would donate $1 to one of the chosen charities (up to $150,000). Those who ‘Like’ a video also got 30% off one regularly priced item. Isabel’s charity was of course the Sea Shepard Conservation Society, and other charities supported included FEED, City Of Hope, Baryshnikov Arts Center, and Women For Women International.
The celebrities also shared their Christmas wishes – ‘If you could give anything in the world what would it be?’ – which related to their chosen charity, and Isabel’s ‘Want’ for the holiday was:
“Sequins in the city and more fish in the sea.”
The president of Gap North America, Marka Hansen, explained the meaning behind the campaign, saying, “As we thought about what holiday looked like this year at Gap, we knew we wanted to be the destination for the season’s most coveted pieces while also creating something meaningful for our customers to participate in. The personalities in our campaign support a wide range of causes, and we’re giving everyone a chance to give back to those causes this holiday season.”
Print adverts were seen in national magazines in America during the Holiday months, as well as outdoor ads on bus shelters, phone kiosks, newsstands and more in New York City.

In April 2009 it was announced that Isabel would be the face of a Tourism Victoria advert campaign promoting the region of Daylesford in Australia, and she spent 3 days in that month shooting the commercial in Daylesford and the surrounding Macedon Ranges. Isabel was born in Melbourne, which is the biggest city in the state of Victoria. According to Tourism Victoria Chief Executive Gregory Hywood, Isabel was chosen because “she is an award-winning actor and is the perfect match for our creative vision.” Local spa owner Kim Whitehouse added that Isabel “certainly appeals to young men who are booking a lot of the weekend escapes.” The $7.3 million campaign was designed to highlight the diverse range of experiences on offer in Daylesford:
The Victoria locations seen in the advert were: Alton Garden in Mt Macedon, Villa Parma, Hepburn Bathhouse and Spa, Cliffy’s Restaurant in Daylesford, The Convent Gallery, Lake Daylesford, Sault Lavender Farm, Wombat Park and Mt Franklin Park.
In the television advert, Isabel is seen enjoying a decadent soiree at night, and in the day taking a stroll through the picture-esque countryside through the woods and by lakes, and then enjoying a refreshing dip in a spa.
The lead male (the waiter) seen in the advert is played by George Byrne (who, incidentally, Isabel is reported to have dated in the past). The music accompanying the advert is “Down to the River To Pray”, sung by Paris Wells with the Brunswick Women’s Choir. The television advert was directed by Mark Molloy and premiered on Australian screens on August 16th 2009. Print based adverts were seen in the Australian press from that month onwards too, and as well as television and print, the campaign also extended to public relations, cinema, and online.

In 2006 Isabel was seen in an American commercial for Crest Whitening Plus Scope Extreme toothpaste. In the advert, entitled “Catch”, men were shown reaching for something invisible (fresh breath?), and when one man finds Isabel’s ‘character’, she blows him a kiss and then casually walks off. The advert was released in April 2006 and directed by Garth Davis, with art direction by Lea Ladera.

Isabel appeared in an American commercial entitled ‘Find Me’ for PlayStation Portable (PSP) in 2006. The ad showed Isabel’s character leaving a PSP memory stick for the man she’d just spent the night with, and on the memory stick were video and photo clues on where to find her. Interesting trivia factoid – Isabel is good friends with the musician Kenna, who features throughout this commercial – Isabel’s character is seen wearing a Kenna t-shirt, the man searching for her finds her at a concert of his in the end, and the song playing in the commercial is State of Emotion (Out of Control) by Kenna. The ad was part of Sony’s re-vamped marketing campaign, and was released in October 2006. It was directed by Garth Davis (who also directed the Crest ‘Catch’ commercial), and art direction was by Xanthe Hohalek.

In March 2005 it was announced that, from the following month, Isabel would be the in store face on adverts for Australian accessories store Diva. She appeared in adverts for it’s boho-inspired Winter 2005 range. Diva is a joint venture between Australians Colette Hayman and Brett Blundy (of retailer Brazin) and British-based accessories giant DCK Concessions. The first store was launched in April 2003 in Sydney’s Imperial Arcade, selling DCK’s jewellery and accessories. By the end of 2005 the chain had expanded to over 100 stores, and has since spread abroad, with stores in Germany, Britain, Israel, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and China. Prices range from $7.99 to $29.99. Diva also became a supporter of the National Breast Cancer Foundation, a charity which Isabel also worked with.
