I decided to go through the content pages and see what else could be added, so I’ve started with the ‘Isabel’ section, and have tidied up some pages and added/updated some things – I’ve created a new page called Favourites, where you can read about the things Isabel loves the most, I’ve added the 2010 appearances to the Style Rundown, and there are 4 new interviews on the Press page, including a new one from NY Magazine in which Izzy talks about the Mt Kilimanjaro climb.

I’ve thought about adding some other new pages to the ‘Isabel’ section, but with her tiny career/time in the spotlight there hardly seems any point. Would you like to see a Top 10 Outfits page, for example? Or a page for roles that she was rumoured to be in but didn’t eventually make? Or do you have any other content pages you want to see here? As always, just let me know, whether it’s a big thing or just a tiny suggestion ;)

I’ll be updating/tidying up the Filmography next, as well as adding new media and games…

EDIT: I’ve edited some of the Press pages to include the scans from the magazine the interview came from, if available. For example, this years’s Vanity Fair, and 2007’s FHM. Thought this might make things a bit more accessible and organised!

SHE has played a robot and a vampire in big-budget blockbusters, now Hollywood hottie Isabel Lucas will put on her dancing shoes as the leading lady in Aussie flick A Heartbeat Away.

The Transformers star was hard at it last week, first filming some steamy scenes opposite rising Aussie actor Sebastian Gregory in Brisbane, then flying off to New York to sit front-row with fellow Aussie actor Naomi Watts at Calvin Klein’s autumn fashion show.

Lucas will head back Down Under early this week to show off some fancy footwork in director Gale Edwards’ musical comedy.

The story revolves around an aspiring rock guitarist (Gregory) who is forced to take over the musical direction of his father’s marching band.

Lucas, who has just been travelling the globe promoting action-packed thriller Daybreakers, will play Gregory’s love interest.

Other cast members include Colin Friels, William Zappa and Tammy McIntosh, with Underbelly’s Roy Billing also tipped to play a part.

Filming will wrap up late next month, with the movie due to be released next year.

Lucas recently finished filming Red Dawn in Detroit, alongside fellow Aussie – and her one-time boyfriend – Chris Hemsworth.

AUSTRALIAN beauties have stolen the limelight on the final day of New York Fashion Week.

Actresses Isabel Lucas and Naomi Watts sat in the front row at the Calvin Klein show alongside Kate Bosworth and supermodel Helena Christensen, the stars later kicking up their heels at the show’s after-party held in the city’s meatpacking district.

The event closed the 2010 autumn shows, which also saw the folding of the Bryant Park tents where the key industry event has been held for the past 18 years.

From next season, the fashion pack will flock to the Lincoln Centre.

Transformers star and former Home and Away actress Isabel Lucas wore a white shift dress with rounded shoulders that was straight off the runway, pairing it with grey snakeskin ankle boots and unbrushed hair.

Izzy has jetted back to America from Oz, and yesterday appeared at two Calvin Klein events at Mercedez Benz Fashion Week in New York! She was seen on the Front Row for the designers Fall 2010 Collection and also at the After Party. First Chanel, now Calvin Klein – the world’s top designers seem to love Isabel!! She was seen alongside other big-name Hollywood actresses at the show, including one of my other all-times favourites, Naomi Watts!!

Photos have been added to our Gallery. Look out for new additions as I’m sure more photos from these events will pop up soon…

The Calvin Klein Women’s Collection show boasted one of the most star-studded line-ups of the week. Knockout Naomi Watts paused to strike a pose with Kate Bosworth before the pair joined Kerry Washington, Isabel Lucas, and Helena Christensen in the front row. The perfectly poised stars showed off excellent posture and matching sets of bare legs. While genes certainly play a part in looking that good, it’s nice to know that Christensen makes an effort to keep up her apparent perfection. “I started boxing two years ago and that is a hell of a workout,” she said. The five front-row bombshells are veterans to the fashion scene, but one of their seat-mates admitted that getting dressed wasn’t her strong suit. “I know jack about fashion!” said Whoopi Goldberg. Fortunately, she’d asked the right friend to play tour guide this week. “I have been hanging out with this fabulous man here. He’s taking me around and showing me lots of different things.” Whoopi said, gesturing to Vogue’s André Leon Talley. He knows a thing or two.

The first photos of Izzy on the set of her new movie, A Heartbeat Away, have surfaced online today, and I have added them to our Gallery! Izzy looks gorgeous! I’m really glad she’s doing another Aussie movie, rather than moving to Hollywood for good. I reckon/hope she’ll continue to get lots of offers on both sides of the ocean and I also think she has a good head on her when deciding what to work on. What do you think?!

Today I’ve added more photos from the Sydney premiere of Daybreakers held earlier this month. Thanks go to Kelly for some of them.

We also have unwatermarked photos from the Dame Elizabeth Murdoch Challenge Launch that Izzy attended in Melbourne last year, again thanks to Kelly!

And finally, I’ve replaced the new Harper’s Bazaar photoshoot with slightly better quality versions, without the magazine text on them. Remember to view our exclusive scans from this magazine as the spread is even more gorgeous in HQ ;)

Theatre director Gale Edwards commenced production on her feature debut, a new musical comedy, today (Feb 15th) in Brisbane.

The shoot for the film – financed by Screen Australia, Screen Queensland, Cutting Edge and UK’s Quickfire Films – is expected to run until March 25, for a 2011 release via Hoyts Distribution. Chris Fitchett produces, alongside executive producers Chris Brown (Pictures in Paradise), John Lee (Cutting Edge), Gary Hamilton and James Atherton (Arclight Films).

The story is about an aspiring rock guitarist who is forced to take over the musical direction of his father’s marching band just weeks before a major competition. The cast includes Isabel Lucas, Sebastian Gregory, Williams Zappa, Tammy Macintosh and Colin Friels.

Edwards has directed musicals such as The Boy from Oz and Jesus Christ Superstar, and A Heartbeat Away is her first film.

MTV released the first trailer for its upcoming documentary on the recent celeb-stacked Kilimanjaro climb that raised awareness about the need for clean drinking water in impoverished parts of the world. One thing is clear after watching the footage. This was no cakewalk.

Jessica Biel, Lupe Fiasco, Emile Hirsch, Isabel Lucas and other celebs all appear as if they’ve been pushed near the breaking point as they trudge up the side of the imposing mountain with a climbing party of roughly 300 people. Headaches, scrapes, bruises and exhaustion all look par for the course for the climbers. MTV plans to air the entire documentary March 14.

Ethiopian-born musician Kenna organized the climb after learning that his father had suffered from water-borne illnesses throughout much of his childhood, and many Ethiopians still travel long distances to secure clean drinking water. Kenna conceived of the socially-conscious Summit on the Summit after failing to climb the formidable mountain in 2007.
