As promised on our Twitter account, I’ve now added screencaps from The Waiting City to our gallery! The caps are not the best quality, but they’re as good as I can get at the moment.
I’ve been waiting to see this film for a while and was really glad to finally get the chance. It was a really beautiful film with great performances and a really moving end. Isabel had a fleeting appearance as a sweet, singing hippie, and I would’ve liked to have seen more of her character! It’s easy to understand why she wanted to be a part of this film. We even got to hear her sing, and she was pretty good!
Enjoy the screencaps in the Gallery!

Izzy was snapped leaving a vegan restaurant in Los Angeles yesterday, looking very pretty in a typically eclectic outfit (which she looks pretty good in!). I’ve added HQ candids from this sighting to our Gallery for you.
I’ve also spent a while updating our Biography, and I hope it reads ok! And I’ve added 3 new Polls for you to vote on if you choose – favourite Home & Away storylines, favourite character style, and what you’d like to see Isabel do next
EDITED on March 29th: Thanks to our visitor Charles, we now know that Isabel’s top is by Sydney designer ‘Lucy Lane Vintage‘. Lucy puts her designs together using second-hand vintage fabrics. You can visit her Facebook page here – she has some really cute clothes! And according to StyleXpose.com her collection ‘A little birdie told me’ will be available to buy online this year.

I decided it might be fun/useful to have a Facebook page for Isabel Lucas Online, so have recently created one for us! You can find us on Facebook HERE. I have to admit that I have absolutely no idea how pages work on Facebook, and I don’t really know how to use it. But please LIKE us, and maybe some of you will write on our wall, share photos of Isabel etc. and we can get the page going. And if anyone wants to tell me how best to run a Facebook page then please let me know

I have a nice little update for you today, Izzy fans! I’ve just come across 3 sets of new candids that have been taken in the last few weeks that we haven’t seen before. On February 15th Izzy was snapped moving into her new house, with help from Angus Stone; on February 20th she and Angus picked up some goods from a Farmer’s Market; and on March 19th she was seen having lunch at the Oak Gourmet, wearing some very colourful tights! Izzy is looking very naturally beautiful in all the photos.
Enjoy!

Isabel attended a screening of Miral in Los Angeles last night, looking pretty in an understated little navy blue dress. Izzy accessorised with some silver jewellry and a black bag. Miral stars Isabel’s Immortals co-star Freida Pinto. So far only 2 photos from the screening have surfaced online, and they have been added to our Gallery. Hopefully more will pop up soon!

Aussie romantic comedy Griff The Invisible has had a reasonably successful opening at the local box office, taking in $66,344 across 20 screens.
This gives the Paramount/Tranmission film, directed by debut feature filmmaker Leon Ford, a screen average of $3317 in its opening weekend.
Starring True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten and Beautiful Kate’s Maeve Dermody, the film follows office worker Griff who lives a secluded life, but by night assumes his other identity. He falls for young scientist Melody who shares his passion for the impossible.
The quirky film will open across the US in June.
Andrew Traucki’s latest “creature feature” The Reef, which opened on 36 screens, took in $58,196 in its opening weekend.
The film, which mainly opened in regional areas due to big Hollywood blockbuster Battle: Los Angeles, was made for $3.8 million and shot in Hervey Bay, Queensland. Additional shark footage was shot off South Australia.
A Heartbeat Away, by acclaimed theatre director Gale Edwards, unfortunately had a disappointing opening, taking $44,204 across 77 screens, giving it a screen average of just $574.
Distributed by Hoys, the musical/comedy feel-good movie stars Isabel Lucas, Roy Billing, Colin Friels and Sebastian Gregory.
Sony’s big-budget Hollywood film Battle: Los Angeles took in $2.5 million Down Under across 328 screens while animation flick Rango finished in second place making $2.2 million in its second weekend.
A few weeks ago it was revealed that the first footage from Immortals would be shown at WonderCon and that Isabel would be in attendance for it. A full schedule for the event has now been released, and here is the bit about the Immortals event:

More on the Red Dawn changes, this time directly from a producer. Article from Ain’t It Cool News.
I just got off the phone with RED DAWN producer Tripp Vinson, who is understandably concerned with the reaction to yesterday’s LA Times article in which it was revealed that the film’s invading force would now, via digital trickery, hail from North Korea instead of China. I know Vinson and the rest of the team behind the RED DAWN remake have been incredibly frustrated with their film getting shelved for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with its quality. The simple fact of that matter is that MGM is bankrupt, and, as a result, could not release the movie as planned last November.
And now they’re getting criticized for digitally altering their villains in order to make the film more appealing to potential distributors.
While this is certainly a rare occurrence, Vinson believes the changes have actually made the film scarier and, perhaps, stronger. So he sent along this email to share with our readers…
I know there is a lot of interest and questions as to the changes announced regarding Red Dawn.
I’ve taken a break from Home & Away caps and in the past couple of days I have been working on our Filmography. ALL the pages have been updated with new information/trivia/quotes/etc., and I’ve added information for Isabel’s recent Gap ads, ‘Made For You’ music video and MTV Kilimanjaro documentary. It’s looking pretty extensive now, so I hope you all enjoy it and find it useful. As always, let me know if you have any suggestions. I’ve also updated and re-organised our Quotes page. I’ll be working on our Home & Away filmography section next, including adding more mini episode guides – there’s a lot to do in that section so it will take some time but will hopefully be worth it!
Enjoy the content updates, and check back very soon for more H&A caps and other gallery updates
Just came across another old, unposted treat – this time, a couple of short clips of Izzy in The Waiting City!
