It seems there is now more hope for the future of Red Dawn! After the news that MGM have received funding meaning the film may be able to be released, the very first promotional photo of the cast has found it’s way online today! In the photo we can see Isabel alongside other main cast members Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki and Connor Cruise.
Seeing as MGM have only just been rescued, there is no release date for the film yet, but speculation is it will be in the Fall of this year.
What do you think about the photo? Are you excited that this film may get a release now? As always feel free to post a comment with your thoughts!

As promised, I have more HQ photos for you from older events, as I sort through my folders to get everything added! I’ve added more HQs from various older appearances, as well as a few MQ/regular sized images. Some of the additions are listed below, but click the thumbnail previews below that to see the Last Uploads page and browse through everything that’s been added. Of particular note are the gorgeous HQ additions from the 2006 TV Week Logie Awards, some previously unseen HQs from the Rodarte Poolside Party and some cute HQ additions to the Dancing With New Idea Party.
There are also a few new-old candid HQs – most of these are HQ replacements of pictures we previously had. I know the November 9th 2005 set are particularly popular, so now you can enjoy them even more in HQ

Almost 10 months after I added the first set, I have now added the 2nd set of screencaps from the Summit On The Summit Kilimanjaro documentary that aired on MTV last year! Very sorry for the delay on this 2nd batch – I completely forgot I hadn’t finished them! In this 2nd batch of caps we see the climbers head for the Summit, and how physically demanding it is. Isabel was apparently very faint quite close to the top, and you can see how she’s being propped up by some of the others. Makes her achievement of getting to the top even more admirable! It really is a fascinating documentary. I will upload it to our Video section once I start on that in the near future.

Predicting the biggest films of any year is a foolhardy venture. The fortunes of a movie as it develops can turn on studio whim, the news agenda on release day, or even the weather. Throw in the unpredictable effects of the biggest economic crisis in living memory and you have a virtually unforeseeable box office landscape.
There are films currently scheduled for release that will be delayed or cancelled for budgetary reasons. There are other movies which are being developed ‘under the radar’ and will only appear on publicity schedules later in the year. Only a fool would try to foretell the big movie hits of 2011. Guess what I’m going to do.
41: The Immortals
Tarsem Singh, the Indian director responsible for the astounding visual tableaux of The Cell in 2000 has made only one film since – the wildly ambitious but commercially disappointing fantasy drama The Fall. Undeterred, he is painting again with a very broad brush with The Immortals. It’s a 3D fantasy epic based on Greek myth that stars Mickey Rourke, John Hurt and Slumdog Millionaire actress Frieda Pinto. Henry Cavill will be the smouldering matinée idol at the centre of what I am sure will be a very pretty-looking film. Commercially, The Immortals could go either way but for painters, students of cinema, or commercial directors looking for new ideas to steal The Immortals will be essential viewing.
The future looks brighter for “Red Dawn,” the remake of the 1984 movie about teens defending the homeland filmed in the tri-county area in 2009 then shelved during the MGM bankruptcy.
MGM completed its restructuring with a $500 million line of credit from JPMorgan — a move seen as a vote of confidence for the storied studio’s prospects, namely the 23rd James Bond movie and back-to-back movies of “The Hobbit,” which begin shooting in New Zealand in February.
Beyond Bond and “The Hobbit,” the MGM slate is murky at best but the fresh funding is a ray of sunshine to all the locals who landed small roles in “Red Dawn” scenes filmed in Royal Oak, Mount Clemens, Pontiac and Detroit. They wonder if they made the final cut.
“This sounds very hopeful to me,” said Cindy LaFerle of Royal Oak, who was cast with her neighbors as captured families. “And, like all the extras who worked on this project, I can’t wait to finally see the film on the big screen.”
I’ve added another ton of photos to the Gallery since the last update earlier today – they’re all over the place (some photoshoots, red carpet interview screencaps, candids and more), so just click the previews below to see the Last Uploads page in the Gallery and browse through all the new additions.

Hope you all had a great new year and that your 2011 has started well
For our first update of 2011 I have added the rest of the 2010 appearance HQ additions I mentioned yesterday, which are all from Isabel’s various appearances at Calvin Klein Fashion Shows. There are some really great shots of Isabel on the front row at Calvin Klein’s Fall 2010 show, and I also particularly like this photo of her grinning outside after posing for the photographers – such a sweet smile!
I also found some more photos from the April 21st candid sighting of her last year, and these are gorgeous, plus you can see her sitting down in the airport and strumming on her guitar!
Look out for more appearance HQs to come, as I’m trying to tidy up my folders and get everything added…

For our final update of 2010 I have uploaded a batch of more photos from various appearances this year, including the Golden Globes Party, the Melbourne Film Festival screenings, and the Daybreakers premiere. I’ve gotta say, seeing more of that Daybreakers premiere dress makes me think again about my choice for Favourite Red Carpet Outfit in our Year Review feature – I just love this dress! I’ve also added screencaps from the behind the scenes video Elle released for their 25th Anniversary edition. Links for new additions are below, or just click the thumbnail previews below that to go to our Last Uploads page in the Gallery.
I do have more photos from 2010 appearances to add, including some great ones from the CK fashion shows, but they will have to wait until next year now

Well, it is already the end of 2010 – can you believe it?! It’s gone so fast. I have a bit of time today and am hoping to get a couple of ‘end of year’ updates in – this being the first. I’ve added 3 new sets of candids taken earlier this month (sorry for the delay in adding these!), as well as 2 other sets from last month and a few months ago. I also added a few sets of new candids earlier this month but forgot to post about them here, so those additions are linked below as well. I particularly like the August 20th and December 3rd sets – love her outfits in these! And of course we can’t not mention her fantastic and very ‘period film piece’ umbrella outfit on December 5th – quirky yet beautiful!
We’ve really had some great candids this year, haven’t we!

In a recent interview with NYMag.com Stephen Dorff spoke about the upcoming Immortals. He doesn’t mention Isabel, but what he does say gives us more of an idea about the movie itself.
Too bad we have to wait almost a year to see it!!
You’ve got Immortals coming out next November, directed by Tarsem. His visuals are off the charts, but what is it like to be an actor in the midst of all that?
The guy’s a visual master, and if you look at his reel, it’s like, “Wow, he’s unreal.” I think this is his big shot, because he hasn’t made a movie in a while since The Fall, which he paid for himself — beautiful movie, didn’t totally make a lot of sense, [but] gorgeous to look at. This one, I think, is hopefully going to deliver something that we don’t normally see from the sword-and-sandal picture, whether it be Troy or Clash of the Titans. It’s definitely in that genre, so we’re all naked and wearing leather.Who are you playing?
Henry Cavill’s younger than me, so he plays, like, the Luke Skywalker. Freida Pinto plays the oracle who becomes the love interest to Henry. I play the Han Solo of the movie, this slave who hooks up with them, and then we all go against Mickey Rourke, who’s the bad guy. I’m a little older than Henry and I’m flirting with Freida, and I’ve got all the good lines in the movie.I heard that Tarsem has all the actors on insane workout regimens to build eight-pack stomachs and huge bodies.
Yeah. Funny enough, I kind of trained with a separate group, because I didn’t like the way they were training some of these guys. It all felt like they were giving some of these actors fake breast implants. It was a lot of “tit acting,” and the opposite of what I think you’d want on film, so I kind of went against that grain and brought my team up there. But yeah, we’re pretty much naked in the movie.
