After a massive year in 2009, in which she broke through into Hollywood, 2010 has been another busy year for Isabel Lucas! While she hasn’t had any major film releases since the very start of the year, thanks to her breakout in 2009 she was now a more familar face in Hollywood … and therefore the media. She was photographed a lot more by the paparazzi, and perhaps showing her rising status in Hollywood, she was seen on the front row of various fashion shows in New York.

What with it being near the end of the year, and the start of a new one, I thought it was time for a bit of a tidy-up of our content. So I’ve been through all our pages and added/updated various pages. Newly added pages are Desktop Icons and Through The Years, and updated pages are Awards & Nominations, Favourites, Name Analysis, Quotes, Icons, Bookmarks, Isabel With Other Celebrities, and About Isabel Lucas Online. Speaking of content, I’m hesitant to add much more because I don’t know if there’s any interest there. So if there is something else you’d like to see on this site that we don’t already have then I would love to hear from you!! Have a look at some of my other sites for ideas if you want. Yes, it’s that time of year again, already! I’d like to wish all of our wonderful visistors, plus Isabel and her loved ones, a very Happy Christmas! I hope your day is filled with yummy food, wonderful presents, and most importantly, joy!

I have a little Christmas treat for you today! I have added screencaps from Isabel’s 2nd episode of Home & Away, and I am also posting the video of it further down this post for you! It’s a great episode, in which the feral Tasha gets caught by Max and Flynn, and it is of course the start of her integration into the Summer Bay community! I’ve also added caps from another 2 later and less Tasha-centric episodes.

As well as screencaps, I’ve also updated our Style Rundown page with Isabel’s outfits from the past few months, and added a page for the new music video Izzy is starring in. Many thanks go to the producer and director of the video, Chris Groban, for the filming details.

I may add some appearance HQs later, but if not, this will most likely be the last update before Christmas. There may be more updates before New Year, but either way, you can expect an End Of Year special update (like last years) here before then!

I had hoped to get in another big update today, but I’ve been too busy! I have, however, managed to cap some more Home & Away episodes for you. I picked a random episode to cap and that was #4108 … but as I was capping it I noticed the video was missing the last 5 minutes of the episode, unfortunately. So I added caps from what I could, and then found another episode to cap! #3647 is one of Isabel’s earliest episodes on the show, and Tasha is still getting used to life in the Bay. Plus, it’s her future husband Robbie’s first episode, and we see his first encounter with Tash! A classic Tasha episode, from one of my favourite H&A eras!

Quite a big update today – I have added over 650 more screencaps from Home & Away! I’ve capped 4 of Isabel’s later episodes, in which we see Tasha and Robbie prepare for his trial, and the return of the Believers cult leader Mumma Rose! A few dramatic episodes, and very Tasha-centric. So there are lots of screencaps for you to browse through.

Seeing some of Tasha’s outfits in these episodes has inspired me to put together a little Tasha Style page in our Home & Away section, so look out for that soon! I’ll also try to update our Episode Guide soon too.

I’ve just discovered that Isabel is featured in the music video for the musician Frally’s new song “Casualty”! Isabel ‘stars’ in the video alongside her ex-boyfriend and good friend George Byrne (who was also in the Tourism Victoria advert video with her), and the twosome play young lovers who are messing around in a car whilst he drives. You can watch to see what happens next I think it’s a really nice song and a very effective video.

Frally is a folk musician (her full name is Frally Hynes) who comes from Adelaide, Australia, and now works in Nashville. You can visit her MySpace page here.

I’ve done a search to see if I can find any more details on Isabel’s involvement in this video, such as when it was filmed and how she became involved etc., but haven’t found anything yet. I will be adding a page for music videos to our Filmography page soon, and will add any further details I may come across onto there. For now though, 70+ good quality screencaptures from the video have been added into our Gallery, and you can watch the video below.

This is a small but nice update! I’ve found and added some awesome additional photos from Isabel’s Grazia photoshoot from earlier this year! This is yet another of my favourite Isabel shoots, and these extra pictures are so beautiful! I’ve also added a few additional, and unfortunately slightly watermarked, photos from one of Isabel’s 2008 photoshoots.

The first poster and some nice new stills from Isabel’s next theatrical release, A Heartbeat Away, have recently been released! One of the new stills is quite similar to one of the older stills we have, but the new one is all new and shows Isabel’s character Mandy walking alongside the band down a pier. The poster is also really nice, and has quite an old fashioned feel to it. Seeing as that poster doesn’t feature our Isabel, I’ve only added it to this post, rather than the Gallery itself.

A Heartbeat Away is set for release in Australia on March 3rd 2011! Hopefully Isabel will go back to Australia to promote it then.

The Pacific, in which Isabel had a small role in Episode 3, has been included in the American Film Insitute’s Television Programs Of The Year list.
